Tea is packed with nutrients, it contains antioxidants, polyphenols, vitamins and minerals. The tea plant Camellia Sinensis has been cultivated for thousands of years and its leaves have been used for medicinal purposes. In the East, tea has always been regarded as a key to good health, happiness and wisdom.

In Kakuzo Okakura’s 1906 philosophical treatise on tea, The Book of Tea. Okakura describes the historical and ancient belief in tea as more than just a pleasing beverage by writing, “Tea began as a medicine and grew into a beverage.”

We believe a nice cup of tea is a daily essential in a healthy lifestyle and we happily indulge into a cup (or two, or three,…) of this magical drink every day.
